| Off | No power | Confirm the switch, outlet, and brick. LP/TLP 2844-class bricks are typically 20 VDC / 2.5 A — a 12 V mobile charger will not substitute. |
| Solid green | Idle | No action. |
| Flashing amber | Stopped / POST / memory / heat | If it fails at power-on, call us. If it fails after printing, power-cycle. If the head is hot, wait for cool-down. |
| Flashing green | Receiving data | Wait until the job finishes. |
| Flashing red | Media / ribbon / cover | Load media, close the cover, press Feed. On thermal-transfer units also check ribbon. Confirm Gap vs Mark in the driver. |
| Double flashing green | Paused | Press Feed to resume. |
| Alternating green/red | Needs service | Call (312) 416-1518. |
