Label compatibility
The Zebra ZP450 prints with direct thermal technology. The printhead heats the label, so there is no ribbon, ink, or toner. That takes a cartridge off the desk and out of the running cost.
Paper specifications
Use the right paper with this ZP450. It does not have to be Zebra-branded. When you pick labels, match these points:
- Label size: 4×6 inches.
- Adhesive: Permanent, on the 4×6 shipping labels we sell.
- Printing technology: Direct thermal. Do not use thermal transfer paper. It will not print on this ZP450.
- Labels: not included. 4-roll 4×6 pack, $24.99.
Label formats
The ZP450 takes two styles of labels:
- Labels on a roll: These load in the printer.
- Flat fanfold paper: These sit behind the printer and feed through the fanfold slot.
Supported label sizes
This ZP450 is listed for 4×6 shipping labels. A label roll is not included. Add the 4-roll 4×6 pack if you need labels with the printer.
